Royal Flight operated another evacuation flight. On June 12, at 8:30 am, a Boeing 767-300 arrived at Sheremetyevo airport with Russian citizens on board. All of them had trouble in returning home.
Flight RL 9502 was a compound flight on the Cape Town - Casablanca - Moscow route. In South Africa, 150 people boarded the plane, in Morocco - 81. In total, 231 passengers flew to Moscow from these two countries. For all of them, this was a long-awaited flight to their homeland, for which the Federal Air Transport Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russia and the Embassies of the countries of departure were involved. Multi-stage approvals and obtaining the necessary permits were required.
It was not the first evacuation flight performed by Royal Flight. We would like to remind that earlier tourists from Nepal, Myanmar, Mauritius, Tanzania, South Africa, and India were able to return to Russia by aircraft of the airline.
Royal Flight, if necessary, is ready to perform further special flights to return citizens of the Russian Federation to their homeland.
